Wash-up meeting

Please let me know if you would like to attend our wash-up meeting at Universities UK’s offices in central London, WC1H 9HQ. The meeting is taking place on Thursday 30 June from 14.30 – 16.00. I need to get an idea of numbers so would be grateful if you could let me know if you’re coming by Monday 27 June.

Survey

We have also just launched a short online anonymous survey on Universities Week 2011. I’d be really grateful if you would consider taking part as we will be using the results to inform future campaigns activity at UUK, such as Universities Week:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/UniversitiesWeekSurvey

If you would like to discuss any aspect of the campaign with me on the phone or if you have any general queries, please not hesitate to contact me further.

Highlights from the week

If you have any photos or videos from your Universities Week events and activities, please email sally.scott@universitiesuk.ac.uk. We are hoping to create a highlight page on the Universities Week website shortly.

Thank you once again.

Best wishes,

Bringing together senior leaders in Higher Education responsible for international partnerships and student exchange this conference, supported by HEERA, will explain how international student exchange programs can lead to new models of revenue generation and build the reputation of a UK HEI. With low cost airlines making travel affordable, reasonably priced and purpose-built student accommodation and a resulting degree that can add genuine value to a student’s career, universities like Maastricht will become serious competitors to UK institutions. How can universities in England and Wales prepare for a possible exodus of talented students? How encouraging international mobility and student exchange can lead to an alternative revenue stream? How the reputation, quality and perception can improve by attracting and retaining students with international experience?
