Bringing together senior leaders in Higher Education responsible for international partnerships and student exchange this conference, supported by HEERA, will explain how international student exchange programs can lead to new models of revenue generation and build the reputation of a UK HEI. With low cost airlines making travel affordable, reasonably priced and purpose-built student accommodation and a resulting degree that can add genuine value to a student’s career, universities like Maastricht will become serious competitors to UK institutions. How can universities in England and Wales prepare for a possible exodus of talented students? How encouraging international mobility and student exchange can lead to an alternative revenue stream? How the reputation, quality and perception can improve by attracting and retaining students with international experience?
